National Children's Day/Tag Day

Happy Holidays!

Today is National Children's Day and Tag Day. I love to find something to celebrate about every day. To celebrate the "tag" game part of the day, I went running. Running can be hard slogging, gasping, painful and all-around hideous. Running can also be floating, flying, energizing and wonderful. I find my attitude - and adequate water - make all the difference in the world!

The children part is harder to celebrate. I really, really respect people who can and do have children. Raising little souls, small packages of giant energy and personality must be challenging and ultimately so rewarding. I can celebrate the hope that children bring to this world, and the women and men I know who bravely embark on parenthood. I also love how children throw themselves into everything, whether it be jumping on a couch (Tom Cruise, move over!) or eating an ice cream cone (smearing it all over their faces in their eagerness to devour).

So take a minute to celebrate! Stop by here whenever you need to refresh yourselves - you are always, always welcome.
